Reading the dimensions against your building
Washing height and width describe the largest vehicle the brushes can reach. Machine height and width describe the steel that has to fit in the bay. A W4000 stands 510 cm tall to wash a 420 cm vehicle; a W4700 stands 560 cm tall to wash a 470 cm vehicle. Both are 465 cm wide before the water shields, which add 14 cm on each side.
For an indoor wash hall, check the clear height under beams, lights and doors against the machine height, not the washing height. For an outdoor lane or canopy, the 400 cm rail gauge sets the width of the concrete strip the gantry runs on.

Build and drive
The frame is A1 grade DKP steel with electrostatic powder coating, and hot-dip galvanization is available as an option. Brushes come in PE plastic or soft brush material. Energy reaches the moving gantry through a chain-driven transmission, which reduces load on the gearbox and motor.
Water runs through galvanized pipes finished in electrostatic oven paint, on separate lines for rinse water, shampoo and chemicals. Electrically operated dosing pumps meter the chemistry, and 24 V DC solenoid valves switch each line. The brush system has upright trolleys and pressure (printing) control.
Installed power, optional equipment, water recovery and cold-weather packages change the power and water figures, and Europe Makine quotes those per site.
Driver guidance and controls
Steel router guide pipes, 3 inches in diameter, sit on the concrete floor and keep the wheels in line. A 24 VDC LED traffic light at the start of the rails and a second on the machine body tell the driver when to move: red while the machine is running or off, green when it is ready to wash.
The PLC holds an automatic program for each vehicle type, and the operator can switch to manual control. Menus are in Turkish and English.
Questions and answers
- Does the W4700 need more floor width than the W4000?
- No. Both models are 465 cm wide excluding water shields and run on a 400 cm rail gauge. The W4700 is 50 cm taller.
